It seems to do just fine as a restaurant--still busy every weekend and most weekdays after 40+ years! There are plenty of farmer's markets, including the Saturday Midtown farmer's market just half a block away, and several suitable underutilized or unoccupied buildings that would make splendid full-time public market type venues; no need to drive out an existing business. Things aren't quite that crowded in Midtown yet--but it's getting close!
