That is awesome for New West! Amazing location too, right along the Quay. Can't wait to see these go ahead. That reminds me, I need to check on the status of Trapp and Holbrook, that's my favorite suburban tower going up in the country right now (due to its historic components)...

NuWest is a great little place with a lot of interesting old neighbourhoods and lots of character.

When you see those towers you realize how incredibly slender most Vancouver towers are.

Those towers actually look pretty bulky not to mention dated.

Grassy setbacks & surface parking, really? The hats are a nice touch straight out of 2004, too.

What's the weird scaffolding / platform with a business woman standing on it front and centre?

That may be a bridge from the (invisible in the render) New West flyover. It's what connects the Quay area to the rest of downtown over the tracks.

You'd think they would at least have a ghost of it. Right now it looks like she's walking from thin air onto a weird plank to nowhere. Kind of funny actually.

They look bad even with the fancy sunset lighting. Imagine.

I don't think these look anything special, but I like the fact that New Westminster is joining the 30+ floors club. Now only if only Port Moody, Port Coquitlam, North Vancouver and Richmond could get their stuff together. Even Delta is having their first 30+ floors tower built.

Richmond can't have tall buildings due to it's proximity to YVR.

Surely not all of Richmond is under flight paths? Is it soils conditions that stop them from going to fall?
