Forms are being jacked to next lift basically right now. It takes about 45 minutes to raise this deal--it has to rise 14 ft 4 in each time--each lift is a floor. Reinforcing will be set starting right away.

Won't comment on pace until the whole system is in place (there is a lot yet to assemble, including the pump line and placing boom) and running as it should. Will let everyone know more in a couple of weeks.

This is already very visible from I-76. I went past this site and 33rd and chestnut over weekend- so much going on in that vicinity in terms of construction. This will really fill in a huge gap west of the river.

I'm still wondering what that awkward ramp is going to do, on top of the garage. Is that going to interface into the FMC tower and let folks drive in or something? Deliveries for the 2nd company of FMC? /shrug

That's going to be a sloped area of Cira Green, the park that will be on top of the garage (and there actually will be a gap between the garage and the FMC Tower--they won't be connected above grade):

Sooo can't wait for this! 2400 Chestnut is a serious bummer in this view isn't it?

Is there really no small ped bridge to the park from FMC? Seems like a waste.
