Asphalt removal on Booth Street
Albert Street Civic Works
Lane and MUP reductions began last week on Albert Street to allow for the construction of the LeBreton Flats Diversion Chamber and other associated underground utilities. Work will continue on the north side of Albert through the winter to late summer.
Pouring of concrete in Lyon Station cavern
Lyon Station Cavern
Lyon Station cavern reinforcement and construction continues with L-wall works installing rebar, conduits and pouring of concrete.
Parliament Station center pillar cavern excavation
Parliament Station Cavern
Crews continue to work seven days a week at Parliament Station cavern. Chewrocka will excavate in drifts (sections) over the next few months.
Shotcrete works in the Rideau Station cavern
Rideau Station Cavern
Crocodile Rouge continues to excavate the tunnel top heading. Tunnel reinforcement, such as shotcrete and bolting, is ongoing. Jawbreaker is excavating the bench for the next few weeks.
Scotiabank building demolition continues

Exterior demolition of the existing Scotiabank building is over fifty percent completed at the future location of the Rideau Station entrance (east).
Works on the Belfast Yard maintenance building (L) and shed (R) continue
Belfast Yard Administration and Maintenance Building/Vehicle Storage Shed
Cladding, panel installation and glazing continue for the building envelope. Construction of the internal components progresses with forming and pouring of slabs, as well as plumbing and electrical works. Roofing on the shed is ongoing.
Pouring of concrete bases and walls at the Belfast Yard connector underway
Belfast Yard Connector
Works on the connector, which allows vehicles to travel to and from the LRT track to Belfast Yard, are ongoing with shoring and rockbolt installation for the Belfast Road bridge’s piles. Pouring of concrete bases and walls for the Connector continues.
Drilling of concrete caissons north of the existing Hurdman Station

Caisson drilling north of the existing Hurdman Station, part of the elevated guideway work, is anticipated to be completed shortly.
Curing of light footing near Belfast Road
Highway 417 Roadworks
Installation of electrical and light poles, median excavation and backfilling continue from Cyrville Road to Nicholas Street.
Preparations for forming of the deck at Hurdman Bridge
Hurdman Bridge (Hwy 417 over Rideau River)
Girder installation has been completed and forming of the deck, part of the reconstruction of the bridge’s median span, has begun.

Concrete removal and general site cleanup is ongoing at the staging area.
Final works continue at the Coventry Pedestrian Footbridge

Final works and general site clean-up is ongoing in anticipation of the footbridge opening next week.
Belfast Bridge closure
Belfast Road Overpass
Deck work is underway on the bridge as the long-term closure of Belfast Road, north of Tremblay Road to Coventry Road, continues.
Upcoming Construction Activities
In the coming weeks, the following construction activities will advance:
• The roof of the Belfast Yard shed is scheduled for completion mid-winter.
• The Coventry Pedestrian and Cycling Bridge will be opened to the public.
• Lyon Station east entrance excavation is anticipated to begin late winter.
• Parliament Station utilities relocation work is scheduled this winter.
Additional construction activities scheduled for spring include:
• Blair Station new bus loop construction is scheduled to begin early spring.
• Paving and final intersection reconfiguration works at Lemieux Street and St. Laurent Boulevard will resume in the spring.
• General site cleanup resumes in the spring at Lees Avenue Overpass.
