Queen's has a few brutalist buildings from the 1970s. However there was very intense backlash against them from the Queen's community (faculty, students, alumni, etc) who felt, rightly, that they ruined the historic feel of the campus, and after a handful of brutalist structures were built, the university folded and in 1979 adopted a rule that all new structures at the university must be clad in limestone or a visually comparable alternative.
Most of these brutalist buildings are out of the way in the corners of the campus... except for this one, Jeffery Hall:

which is located smack dab in the middle of the campus, on the main boulevard which is otherwise 100% pre-1920 stone construction. It ruins it so much that the university is actually planning on rebuilding it in the near future with a stone exterior, although no funding is yet forthcoming.
