Again, I caution you ToysNoiz. You're sounding way to reasonable and multi-dimensional. C'mon now, exaggerate the negative a lot more. Also, you need to practice minimalizing the many positives, or just ignore them all together.

Anyway, moving along... IMO Salt Lake City and Metro is looking great. This, coming from the perspective of someone who is actually living the Downtown and Central Urban lifestyle of a city that dwarfs most on this forum. I for one appreciate Salt Lake City's well rounded approach. Like it's excellent transportation buildup, it doesn't just pool all of its eggs in one basket. Looking back on Asies excellent blog. and the many ongoing pages of the Compilation thread, there is definitely a good diversity of styles to the long list of many projects. The Downtown and Central residential is typically mid-rise and most are doing an excellent job of engagement. I am very excited with Salt Lakes progress, and look forward to seeing it accelerate even more.

I wouldn't care if you did. We don't have to have the same positive opinion of every single proposed development. I don't think he's poo-pooing things just to be a troll. He makes valid points in his posts and I appreciate what he contributes. There is no need for you or anyone else to censor him.

Most critiques are 99% negative.

I'm very glad to hear that the regent street parking garage will eventually be getting street level retail.

SHUT UP ABOUT THE WHOLE FINGER POINTING ALREADY AND START TALKING ABOUT THE PAC!

Seriously! It was beneficial at first but nothing you say anymore is development related, it's all "he's good" or "he's bad". I'm sorry if I got angry but this is really getting on my nerves.

lol

I've been here longer than pretty much any forumer on this site. I've made thousands of posts - both positive and negative. If you feel you can glean that I've been negative in 99% of my posts for the short period of time you've been here - more power to you. I'm flattered you pay that much attention to me.

I preferred the beveled outer application. Oops, sooooo negative.
I also prefer 111 as it is going to be much more than the old Bennion Jewelers? Building. Yay, positive.!
If this post offends you, keep scrollin'. It's easy.
Kind of like you could do with Flowery Soliloquoy Delts, and Quick Barb Comrade.
(Delts, and Comrade, I enjoy ya' both ....usually.....does anyone ever ALWAYS like anyone?).

Appreciate away to your little hearts content. Along with many others on this forum, I don't appreciate the overly broad strokes and one note constant drum beat of that type of haranguing. And guess what, I have just as much right to object as anyone. That said, I don't think I would ever complain that your trying to censor me.

Look, there have been more than a few dust ups with Comrade over the years from other forum members to this point, never myself. I also have a quite a number of hand wringing private messages sent to me over the same matter on file. I am finally just tired of it. Maybe, it's just unavoidable when dealing with any kind of blog. I suppose there are those that are much worse.

You take this internet thing way too seriously. Take a step back and relax, man.

You're getting upset and no one is even calling you out. I'm over here being lobbed insults and basically told to — and I'm just laughing.

I don't care if people find me negative. I don't need to justify myself to anyone and will let my track record speak for itself - someone who can be very critical of projects I don't like but also praiseful of those I do like.

Who cares if what Comrade says is negative, it's his opinion, therefore it's valid on this forum.

I appreciate his posts, and I appreciate Delts posts. I don't appreciate the idea posited that opinions
need to be positive. Opinions should be real.

I think a forum where everyone shared the same positive opinion would be pretty dull.

Look, enough said. I didn't start this argument, others did. But I do understand very well where they're coming from. You have your style of posting, I have mine, and others have theirs. I don't think the argument from those who started this today or the many times in the past dust ups was about opinions so much. It was more about the style in which those opinions are expressed. Anyway, peace...out.

FWIW, I am excited for this development - specifically the theater. I wish the tower wasn't a box. That doesn't mean I don't wish it wasn't being built. I'm just glad it's going to make a dent in the skyline, which 222 Main really didn't do.

OKAY! Hell, ill be the first one to get back on track. Here's something to get EVERYONE'S attention off of the — going on for the past few pages. OBVIOUSLY this development is so freaking anemic that there's nothing to talk about. The reason? IT AINT BEING BUILT! LMAO!

And...I realize my opinion carries very little weight as I joined in 2006 and have only posted 200 times. (Oh my god, I'm cracking myself up today). BUT! I lived in SLC for 15 years....so doesn't that count for something? Maybe another 200 - 500 posts? (ROFLMAO)

I think 222 made an impact in the skyline, but more than anything it looks very nice at street level and that's the biggest thing I'm sure I'll love about 111 and the PAC as well. Looking at the nice open lobby in the rendering with the theater just south of it, that will look awesome.

It sounds like you're joking but you could probably start another argument with this.
