Note the black pipe on the left of the photo, I heard this gurgling noise and it was moving. So I had to investigate LOL. I went to the top of the garage and there were two guys up there. One was directing a high pressure hose into a pipe and the second guy was standing there trying to hit the first guy with his glove behind the knee. The first guy would dodge each time. They just kept doing it, I almost took a video. So if you wonder why construction costs are up, well there you go! LOL

Couple interesting shots from the upper ramp near the top (but still somewhat hiding from those two whackos spraying water down a pipe LOL) and another of some of the stuff littering the top floor or two of the garage. TONS (literally) of cinder block and sorts of palates.

FYI, this is quick to get to from floor 11 on the elevator from the 30th street side just south of chestnut. (street level is floor 3 on the elevator from there)

WOW! Great shots, GC! And great scouting of an excellent observation point!

Because of how tight this site is, and the neighboring overlooks from the elevated streets and the garage, we get some great views--and PHOTOS--of this.

Now, if we can just get someone to rent an upper-floor apartment in EVO for later in the process.

What's the hold-up on completion of EVO? Are they waiting for warmer weather to complete the roof deck and replace the final wooden boards towards the top of the building with glass? A few more wo.oden boards visible on the other side of the building not seen in the above shots

It's like greige or something. It's still looks like concrete, but it almost looks brushed. I don't know if it was paint, stucco, or what. It doesn't look half-bad, much better than the rough concrete. I drive by there pretty much every day and I meant to post about it here because I was curious as to what they were actually doing but forgot to.

I know someone who lives here and I took some pictures while I visited.

Here is EVO's painted over exterior concrete

The FMC construction site from the roof of EVO.

The roof of the parking deck and future park/garden.

The slanted metal bar that wraps around the roof. I'm not sure how external lights would fit in here.

Great views in your photos Philly13! This last one angled to the right would be a great shot of the river and Center City. I love the twilight with the lights on.
