St. Clare's Mercy Hospital by Rabbittownie, on Flickr

Old rowhouses, a Methodist church, Monastery Spa (former, obviously, monastery), and some factory.

St. Patrick's Church. Still the third-tallest building in the city, I believe. If not, second.

Halifax Common and North End in the foreground with Dartmouth in the background. The cupola is St. George's, a circular church built in 1800.

It has a wonderful Georgian interior

Looking up Prince Street toward the Citadel. You can see a bit of the Nova Centre construction partway up the hill; that will eventually be quite prominent on this street:

Armouries, another North End landmark, this time from the 1890's.

Harbour and King's Wharf under construction

A shot from today looking east from the library. The old library is on the left; it sounds like it's going to become a new home to a startup incubator. The front lawn used to be a graveyard for paupers.

So much ugliness in Longueuil. Yet, so much potential, especially given the river.

That's the Grace Tower. It does have a nice profile, even if the materials are awful.

Awesome Van pics on this page. Also really cool spot for that Winnipeg popup restaurant, I like that most of Canada's colder cities are really starting to embrace the "winter city" idea.

Might I suggest that anyone who posts photo should also identify which city we're looking at? I know, some people already do that. But not all. And I know, most of these pics are pretty recognizable. But again, not all. Thanks.

Great Vancouver set - wonderful urban vibe in those shots. Looking forward to visiting in June.
