Worst new buildings of the decade so far?

OK, so this thread got me thinking: we're now half way through the decade, and there have been some really great projects done in Portland in that time... and some really bad ones. Here are few of my least favorite projects.

MW8 Apartments
Architect: Barry Smith

This project is located on a site with a Design overlay, only a block away from the Bureau of Development Services.

700 SE Cesar Chavez
Architect: Myhre Group

Beige Hardie Panel was on sale.

Waterline Apartments
Architect: Leeb

What's worse than two bad buildings? Those two buildings repeated twice.

Hawthorne 26
Architect: Myhre

As Places over Time noted, this building has ground floor retail, something you'd have a hard time noticing from the facade.

Overton Office Building
Architect: Fosler Portland Architect

Nothing says "Welcome to America" like an immigration office that looks like this.

This one would EASILY get my vote for worst of this millennium. It's so bad it starts to make the Portland Building look good. MW8? I H8 it.

I detest the Overton office building. But I really hate the 3121 apartment building on Division with the mesh screen over the front.

Ditto. BTW, this is the more attractive elevation for this building. The blue tile/concrete block wall on the backside is ridiculous.

Agreed. Property line walls are something that even the best architects struggle with, but the MW8 fails more spectacularly than any other project I've seen in Portland.
