That last pic is a very accurate summation of Delta's skyline... None.

What has determined that rounded arch in that last picture?

There's a river/stream/whatever you want to call it about a metre or two wide there. It's called Crescent Slough.

I have no idea. I always thought it was because it doesn't meander at all, but I've never read anything for sure. I don't know, it always seemed like a logical border for me, and the last thing I'd want to see us do is develop over the farms there.

I would imagine it cannot be developed due to ALR restrictions

Yeah legally it can't anyway. I guess I was just saying I'm glad it can't be.

Agreed. And hopefully nothing changes to open it up to potential development.

I can see my old apt (several in fact) in that shot of Richmond. And my old cranberry farm.

Funny how they couldn't "develop" the farm lands but it was totally acceptable to build out a mega highway through it haha

It's almost impossible to find a (good) picture of Laval skyline
I found that pic of the downtown's "west side" (around Carrefour Laval and Centropolis) as seen from the "east side" (Urbania Condos). Both sides are hard to be included in a single shot.

Nice picture !

I can confirm that Laval Skyline is extremely sprawled and almost impossible to catch in a single shot, except from the airs and/Or from Mount Royal.

Its difficult to call that a skyline. As far as I'm concerned laval has a sprawled, disjointed collection of cheap midrises, not a skyline.

Isn't Laval's plan to fill the gap between in a long-term time !?

Yes I heard they plan to stay the ugliest suburb in Canada... it's very well done for the moment.

I believe Laval will have two "skylines" in the future, the one around Centropolis and the one around Montmorency Metro, especially with Place Bell under construction now.
