Thinking back, 2014 was a pretty good year in terms of Philly skyscraper action:
Five highrise projects completed
Eight u/c (including new tallest)

Three in their Demo/Prep stage
Also:
New Dilworth park
Three major retailers opening in C. City
24 Hour Weekend subway/el service
....just off the top of my head right now
I'll go out on a limb to say that this decade is shaping up to be the most skyline altering time period since the "trophy tower" era of the 80's/90's (taking into account U city, Temple, projects along the Schuylkill, S Broad, etc). This of course if everything planned right now is realized, but it's shaping up to real good so far
