Townline has already built & completed the first 2 buildings on the bottom (dark brown). The light brown on the upper left is a rental building that will be built and the remaining 3 buildings (light brown + 2 grey buildings) are future phases. A daycare centre will also be built.

any more retail to come of is it all in the first phase?

Drove by the site today. Doesn't look like the remaining phases are being developed any time soon. Is it due to low demand? The gardens website says there are still 2 bedroom suites available in the first phase.

I believe the bottom right building (small building pink/white) will be a stand-alone retail building, still to be built. I haven't been by in a while but I think a Loblaw grocery store is or will be open.

As for availability I am not sure.. if they are not sold out by now then they should be very close.

"within the site" - being at the back corner of the development away from street access so you have to drive through the project to get to it - unless he meant the Loblaws isn't in the pink building.

That small pink building hasn't been built yet. Only the two southern most buildings. The one on the right houses the CityMarket on the ground floor facing steveston highway

I was speaking with a group who has purchased a parcel of land within the Gardens from Townline to build out on their own. I'm not sure if they've retained the balance or sold the rest of the development off in parcels.

Camber looks good. I assume they'll paint the couple of cinder block walls within the yellow frames.

The end view of Riva doesn't look all that bad (may have been a nicer randomized effect if all the windows were the same size).

Thanks for posting the pics. Not many people posting RICHMOND projects on the message board so it's nice to get an update in the area once awhile.

Nice looking buildings. I think you don't see a lot of Richmond stuff here because of the emphasis on height and Richmond has those pesky Airport-driven height restrictions.

That doesn't mean there aren't nice looking mid-rises being built all over. I'd really like to see them ease off and allow higher buildings in Richmond one day. I mean other cities seem to have no issue building really tall next to airports, some much larger than YVR. Look in many Asian cities and even San Diego here in NA. Then again there probably is a natural height limit there due to building on sand in an Earthquake zone.
