Thanks SP for the photos!! That concrete sure did rise quickly and nice to see some steel going in. Look forward to seeing the changes in another 2-3 weeks.

It's really nice to see this project leave the excavation phase. No more digging deeper just building up now. The concrete walls for the theatre are moving fast, I suspect we'll see it move pretty quickly this winter.

Few things I see.....
1. The floor for what will be the lobby for 111 ( 1st pic ) is getting laid out.
2. Bigger steel beams going up right next to the other beams that will be the front wall of the theater. ( 3rd pic )

Great picture update, thank you so much. It appears to me that we are seeing the topping out of the north side of the Theater lobby. I'm guessing it's not going any taller.

Obviously the tower that hang over will eventually be above that section but I think that's the extent of the theaters height. As Projects suggested it appears that those thick beams will be part of the facade and I expect we will see steel begin to rise for the entire front of the Theater.

This is really where things start to get exciting! This project has been a long time coming and now with the two starting to take shape it will be fun to watch along the way. Will the tower have a concrete core the full height of the tower with steel tying into it or will we see a transition to all steel soon?

Concrete I believe. Steel cores risk collapse if there is a large fire, or if it is severed.

I must have missed a post a while back. Is it EPAC instead of UPAC now? Eccles Performing Arts Center?

I'll take anything over a local commercial sponser... I don't even know if that is possible, but if the PAC turns into the up-Chuck-a-Rama Theater, I will set a random car on fire.
