Is the tallest one being built still? It looks absent in the recent pictures.

I was all excited for another near 200 meter building in LA but maybe not?

yes its being built.

LA has 2 other 200 meter towers poised to rise, the 677 ft Fig Central North Tower, ans Onni's 50 story tower.

others that may be soon announced to maybe be 200m include the luxe site project, and carwash site (i hope so).

I took some photos of the ads on the fence, not sure they are worth showing. If you scroll through my flickr you can see 'em

Yup, the fence separating phase 1 and 2 lots was taken down, the mountain of dirt is being hauled away and the lot is only open to construction worker cars. I think its imminent.

Great news, that is an important step.

Thank you for the update.

This is pure speculation on my part, but maybe they closed the parking lot there because they needed the area for staging Phase 1 rather than starting phase 2. Just presenting another option rather than construction imminent.

When phase one broke ground, the people of Greenland stated that phase two would start towards the end of this year or early next year. I wouldn't be surprised if phase two started soon.

Has any of our permit pullers spot anything in regards to phase two floating around ?

There is another pic on LA central thread showing a couple of earth movers and what looks to be a pile driver/ foundation equipment on the phase two portion of the project.

I would've liked to see more pronounced angles on the fins, especially on the tallest tower.

I drove by the second phase area on 8th street earlier today, and there were crews doing some utility work on 8th street near the site, and a very small portion of the asphalt had been torn up, but the broken pieces were still there. So they're definitely preparing for something, whether it's construction or simply moving staging over to that side of the lot. But considering that they've had a rather large area available in staging to the south of that giant dirt mound since they started phase 1, I lean towards prep for construction.

It is a base for the 3rd crane. Does anyone know where the 3rd crane will be located. I assume the foundation is being finished up now.

Dirt is being hauled away. The parking lot is being dug up in the top left corner. The crane base being dropped off already is interesting....... espeacially since there is not visible foundation put into place for another crane yet.... my only guess would be on the left side by the ramp you can see some guys working on what could be a foundation for the next crane.

If you look at the construction cam today, there is one thing that stood out to me that is an indicator of what's to come. Sometime between 8:00 am yesterday and 8:30 am today, they've delivered a LOT of porta-potties on the site (I count at least 12). That's usually an indicator that shit's about to go down. Figuratively and literally.
