Har har, but i thought it was only the Architechs that were selfist.

As for wether there should or shouldnt be a 13th floor. Any building over 12 stories has 13, you can name it anything you want it will still be 13. Now back out side to shovel snow.

Top of my head Liberty Development, Concord, Pemberton skip the 13s and 4s

Tridel, Menkes, Monarch skip nothing

Diamante skips the 13th only

I forget who the developer was for the "W Loft" but they skipped 13 but not the 4's. Personally I'd love to live on the 13th floor.

Jurassic World is coming out soon, hopefully once we are able to bring back dinosaurs back to life. I think the BIG O can finally find a use for itself.

5e Quai will start construction next October, delivery of units scheduled to begin in July 2016. More than half of the units, ranging in size between 649pc2 and 2464pc2 have already been sold.

Looks like a resort. It's aight I guess.

I hope those rich mofos who live in there will enjoy living next to a railyard and a busy beer brewery.

Really good design, but I find it a bit out of place next to the other building.

Wow, at first glance I love that Winspear proposal. It was always a first rate hall (at least to my untrained eyes and ears), but the exterior was a bit underwhelming, especially along 97th... the fact that it was built towards the end of a period dominated by rather uninspired design in general didn't help. This makeover will bring the outside up to par with what's inside.

5 stars for that beauty. Huge huge huge improvement.

The Winspear expansion will give 97th street the respect it deserves.

The public space and steps down to the water are interesting.

The Cunard block will really stitch together this stretch of waterfront. The area below Barrington (or so) between Sackville and Marginal used to feel like a bit of a wasteland but it might hit a tipping point with the new development happening. The southern end of Lower Water Street for example could one day feel like "downtown" rather than a truck route through parking lots.

Plaza's upcoming 51 storey tower at Adelaide and Widmer Streets is by Quadrangle Architects. I wonder how the nimbies at aA, RAW etc will respond to their views of the dreadful Cinema Tower being blocked forever?

Another appalling tower design with a cheesy name - City Lights on Broadway - by Pemberton Group is coming to the Yonge and Eglinton (18 Erskine) area: http://citylightscondos.ca/register/
