Indeed, though it sort of reminds me of a mini-Edmonton for some reason. Probably because of that green tower in the middle.

I noticed something which caught my eye big time, but at first couldn't put a finger on it, but then it just struck me - apart from the highrises, the roadway width, and Ontario licence plates, that pic below bears an eerie resemblance to a section of Groat Road in Edmonton just south of the overpass by the east side of Hawrelak Park

Hell, this could well be my neighbourhood in Edmonton 25-35 years from now!

^ I love how the Montreal General looks like a medieval castle all perched up on that hill.

Fuck you, Vancouver. Why do you always have to come into this thread and school the rest of us with your amazing skyline shots from the ocean showing mountain tops, or from mountain tops showing the ocean, or the amazing density and consistency of your buildings? Dah.

^ lol! We've had two straight weeks of sunshine (which is really unsual for November) so it's made for great photo ops. Expect a lull pretty soon

^prototypical winter vista in large Ontario cities. Grey sky, grey apartment towers. It could be London. It could be Scarborough.
