My bad, I was quoting dimswitch when he stated it was 48 floors.

I counted his picture and it appears that it is around the 51st floor out of 63.

This means there is 12 floors to go more or less at 3 meters each, this gives a total of around 35 meters remaining.

or 115 ft.

This also means that it is actually 153 meters tall already making it the third tallest structure in the City of Vancouver.

Around 3 meters shorter than the sovereign in burnaby and around 5 meters shorter than the Private residences at hotel Georgia.

Regardless, the building is getting pretty close to topping out.

Thanks Klazu, it's with my phone, a Samsung. I have enjoyed many of your photos here for years.

Based on the render above, there cannot be any more than 61 real floors plus a mechanical penthouse.

Alright I counted mine again and OK maybe 49 depending on where the 2nd floor starts, it's hard to tell, and starting work on 50. Nevertheless it looks like a beauty, can't wait to see it topped off.
But speaking of "ghost stories", I just had a great idea. We could claim some ancient superstition whereby there's no "odd" numbers allowed. That way when Burrard Gateway goes up, it'll be over 100 stories!!! No, yes?

Everywhere I look and read about this project I get the statement it is 63 stories.

Did you include the 3 floors at the podium?
Edit:
I counted 62 storeys on the render plus the penthouse.

If there are three floors in the podium, then there are 61 floors plus the mechanical penthouse.

Whatever the precise statistics, it seems the Trump Tower still has about 10 or so more floors to go, and is planned to be slightly shorter (in metres) than Shangri-La. It's a slimmer tower than Shangri-La, often photographed beside or behind it.
At any rate, right there on Georgia, it will be a tall, snazzy tower. People seem to be getting some kind of phobia over the eventual height of Trump.
It'll be fine, I'm sure.

To add to the confusion -
The elevation from the CD-1 Text Amendment to add floors shows 65 floors (if I counted right) - counting the markings on the right side of the drawing.
That could go to "67" if you count the roof marked "Mechanical" and if there is a mezzanine in the floor that seems to have a higher ceiling (?)

Note that this is the alley perspective, since there is a Lower Lobby (alley) and an Upper Lobby (Georgia St.).
This should be the "tallest" side of the building.

And the approved height relative to Shangri-La:

I'm beginning to feel like nobody knows how many real floors this building is. Not the city not the developer and certainly nobody on this site. It would almost be funny, if things like this didnt bug me so much.

edit: There are 58 balconies in the render prometheus posted, and 60 balconies showing in the drawing officedweller posted. In case anyone cares.

Damn, that diagram is blurry! Like, did someone intentionally add more blurriness to it?

I walked by today and no matter how many floors there currently are and will be, this thing is freaking TALL. Due to it's design and the thinness of the tower, it looks VERY tall and I mean seriously skyscraper tall. Looking up from very nearby you cannot tell which one is taller, Trump or Shangri-La or not.

With the final 10+ floors it will look just fantastic. A landmark in making.

The diagram was a screenshot and I took another screenshot after enlarging it to make it easier to count the floors.
