It is the same development. Apartment tower plus apartments wrapping the parking deck, as well as a public park in the first phase.

A small temporary foundation was added to the middle of One Museum Place. Unless the sales office is moving, I guess it's for a construction office.

This may not be new, but tree removal signs are at the Novare lot at 14th and West Peachtree.

Novare DOES NOT PLAY about getting their projects out of the ground. What is different about their circumstances that enables them to construct almost if not all of their proposals?

10 months seems more than adequate to finish the building. I'm pretty confident they'll be open on time.

They self-fund or they did circa 2007. Novare owned the Midtown Bank, I believe. This is a tremendous advantage--

They use a modular design process that allows them to get projects through the design and engineering phase quickly. Couple that with a deep portfolio of successful projects and that leads to easy financing. I just wish they would expand their design library so they didn't end up having sameish looking buildings.

I am pretty sure they owned a bank at one point-- I think it went under in the recession. Obviously they did more than self finance at some point and got into trouble like everyone else-- It also 'helps' when you built basically the same thing over and over again--

I feel the same, looks good - but I honestly don't care if I ever see it.

I realize this is a big deal for some, and for our tourism industry. I just wish Kasim had cozied up more to the Braves than he did to the Falcons.

You will need that beautiful suite to enjoy the game, because there is not much to watch on the field.

Nugget in Atlanta Business Chronicle article:

Quote:
The project involves developing 200 beds of student housing at College of Coastal Georgia, 500 beds at Columbus State University, 350 beds at Dalton State University, 200 beds at East Georgia State College, 700 beds in two buildings at Georgia State University, 650 beds in two buildings at Georgia Regents University, and 400 beds at University of North Georgia.
Anybody know what this is referring to exactly? Seems like a decent shot at an under-the-radar downtown development.

"He also said one of the possible areas for the new housing will replace the Sculpture building located at Edgewood Avenue and Piedmont Avenue. The others would be at 82 Piedmont Ave. and 121-125 John Wesley Dobbs Ave."
