Morehead City has a population of 8,661 and Atlantic Beach has a population of 1,495.

We saw a sunrise over the ocean, now we see a sunset over the ocean. Thanks, northern hemisphere after fall equinox!

I wish I had time to visit the historic Beaufort downtown nearby, or Fort Macon, but alas it was a business trip.

Atlantic Beach and its sunrises and sunsets are beautiful! Thanks for sharing these very nice shots, initiald. I would like to visit all those Atlantic beaches in North Carolina.

..You should go to "Intercourse, PA" in the heart of the PA Dutch country. The souvenir shops are fill with fun wacky t-shirts.........."I Love Intercourse"..
