As Chad said it will be a bit more than a facade, but not much. The bar inside had some character but the hotel rooms would serve no purpose so why keep them.

Something I am curious about, is there a setback requirement that will have the facade built further back than it originally was?

I imagine so. In the new renderings, the sidewalks look fairly wide.

Looks like they've treated most of the steel near the bottom, eager to see the cladding.

It's hard not top get Guardian in the background, and that's one of the things I love about it.
