Far cry from several decades earlier when we saw fanciful expenditure on landmark head offices, pensions, health plans, leg room, etc.

Tour des Canadiens 2 and 3 (120m - 38 floors) have been approved by the city. A mega sales office for all of Cadillac Fairview's projects is now under construction at the corner of Peel and Saint-Antoine.

I'm not a Torontonian, but I've spent months in TO itself and in RH on multiple occasions.

Isn't North York Centre SOUTH of Yonge and Finch?

Google is telling me this address is at Hillcrest.

its really NYCC, NYCC technically ends at finch but this is just north of it. Sort of the "edge" of North York Centre I guess.

I like. It reminds me of some of Bjarke Ingel's recent work. One tower would be more appealing than two, but I'll take it. Is the crown feature habitable?

9595 Yonge would be in the southern end of Richmond Hill.

Richmond Hill is well north of Toronto. (north side of Hwy 7)

white square: The site
yellow pin: subway entrance
red line: Finch

Its not Markham, certainly not Richmond Hill, its North York.

Also, while this site is currently a bit of a walk to the subway, if the yonge extension ever gets built there will be a stop right beside the condo.

Really close to the regional bus terminal..

Pretty much the northern end of North York City Centre, and it actually will extend the skyline of North York just a wee bit as well. A few more of these and North York Centre will reach the Thornhill/Vaughan/ and Markham border.

This section of the hydro corridor is just itching to be buried with tall towers and stacked townhomes replacing the bus terminal and parking lot.

I'm not really a fan of that white cladding on Tour des Canadiens 2 and 3.
