I want ten more 346 Potrero please.

If you add them all up its only about 500 units. The city still needs many more infills like these.

That rendering is beautiful. If it comes out like that it will be an instant classic!

Another example of gas station to housing units is Divisidero and Ellis. It turned out pretty badly, and looks like it belongs in the Richmond somewhere.

346 Potrero looks amazing and fingers crossed we don't get another 8 Octavia or Linea (where the renders looked good but they turned out much worse).

Here's a quick snap of 2155 Webster while I was on Muni. All the upper floors appear gutted.

^Ugh. Saitowitz is responsible for some of the ugliest, most anti-urban shit in this city. Another recent example is the fugly building at South Van Ness and 15th Street.

At this link is a history of the San Francisco Mining Exchange building which will be the lobby for 350 Bush Street. I am so glad such a beautiful building will be recycled.

KTVU 2 reported on some sort of construction accident in the Financial District this morning--rubble from a "partially demolished" building falling into the street (no injuries)--and I'm pretty sure that was the 350 Bush site.

That can't possibly be good. Some sort of settlement bound to happen, despite lack of injuries. You just can't have buildings collapsing onto the sidewalk and into the street during demo processes. There could have been serious "civilian" injuries, car wrecks, etc.

^I don't ever recall something like that happening. Pine Street is a major downtown thoroughfare for pedestrians and for cars.

argh, so annoying! that'll likely push back construction by quite a while, with a stop work order and all that coming in.

Went to the TJPA community meeting today. Above ground construction for the Transbay Terminal is slated to start on Nov. 7th.
