What Vin said (holy crap we agree!) plus it's by far the cheapest high end building on the north shore. If you want a concrete high rise with nice finishings and A/C etc in a bad neighbourhood that might get better, it's worth a gamble. I guess. Mountain hwy will turn into a quiet street once the "upper" Mountain hwy overpass is diverted towards Brooksbank, knocking out two of three busy streets surrounding it. Fern has already been turned into a cul de sac.
And everyone always forgets about Phibbs exchange. It might not have the glamour of the Quay but it's handy to have nearby.
If the reserve ever builds their mega-mall on the other side of the highway, and the rest of lower Mountain hwy gets developed as planned, people who bought on the south side of the building will be sitting pretty. And the north side will be alright too as long as they wear earplugs.
