Manhattan should always be shot in B&W.

yep always looks better in black and white. great work -- and yes we do need more b&w threads for sure, especially of the more popular cities we see on ssp.

I think of of it that way along with Miles Davis or Bill Evans for a soundtrack n my head.

Really good. Thank you. I love the black and white. It's funny, you wallow in the city day after day, and it can feel so horribly repetitive and uncool. Then you see it through a black and white lens, and it becomes a wonderland again.

Wonderful set.

This thread definitely calls to mind the b&w opening shots of "Manhattan" set to Gershwin's music.

And to quote the Ramones:

"Well, New York City really has it all
Oh yeah
Oh yeah"

Thank you. That's one of the things I enjoy about photography is looking at the everyday world and seeing it from a new or fresh perspective.

Hahaha yeah you got the Manhattan reference! Music and photography go hand in hand, at least for me.

Even in black and white, NYC is amazing. Thanks for sharing your pictures. You did a great, great job!

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain.
