Though it makes sense with those huge windows to have some shutters. A bit jarring when they are all closed visually but I'll wait and see.

The open and closed nature of the shutters should provide interesting shadowing / variation.
Might have been nice if they varied the shade of yellow like on their logo.

And if you really want to be picky, they used two different kinds of screws. (And one of the hinges doesn't look like it's sitting flush with the metal shutter).

Can be even more picky! I see 3 different kinds of screws, 2 different Phillips heads and one Robertson for good measure!

The second one from the left is the one that doesn't look like it's flush. Look at how the pin for the hinge sits outside of the gap.

While on the top hinge, it's sitting in the gap.

The screws should be countersunk - but you why they aren't? because the hinges in the middle should be flipped (top to bottom),
then the pin would sit in the gap. The holes for the screws probably aren't drilled out for countersunk screws on the wrong side.
Look at the flange on the two middle hinges versus the two outer hinges.

Yeah, I see 3 different types as well. Flat Philips head, curved Phillips head, and a Robertson.

Also something I noticed, the screw (the one the orange line intersects) in the hinge furthest to the right appears to be directly in the middle of the cutout in the shutter. Is this screw just for show? Or did they scab something onto the backside so the screw is actually serving a purpose (this would look like shit from the inside though so I cant see that being the case).

I actually noticed that one too. And they do seem to drill next to the openings trying to screw the hinge into something. Figured this out since there's a hinge missing on one of the shutters on the 2nd floor. I wonder if they'll notice/fix it.

How that other building doesn't get past the design panel and this does boggles the mind.

There is a lawsuit between the Construction Manager and one of the development partners and the limited partnership that built this that includes accusations as: misrepresentation of construction management experience

I'd say there was either some severe design issues or some major mis-representations with the length of time this took and the quality control issues that are rather apparent just walking by.

It looks good, and will look great once people are living in it and have the shutters mostly open.
