This apple tree is across 11th Ave SE from the Vic Park cop shop where the Marriott is supposed to go, so I guess there is a precedence for apple tree orchards in Victoria Park? I haven't done a fake tilt-shift for a while and I thought the perspective in this shot would be good for tilt-shift. Yes I know it is a gimmick but I think it is a fun effect.
Great shots Jimby and there's no shame in a good tilt-shift. To paraphrase a biker saying, "Better a brother doing a tilt-shift than a sister doing HDR" or something like that. It's been a while since I flipped through an EasyRider.
Only took one picture today, at the end of the day and far from the best one I could have taken, but I kind of like the white on green look the snow provided.
