Another 20 new tower starts in The Beltline over the past 3 years. It'll be interesting to see if The Beltline can match everything north of the tracks (EV, Eau-Claire, Commercial Core, Downtown West End) in tower starts moving forward.

You know what view I hardly ever see? The view you get when you're driving Southbound on Calf Robe bridge and you look over your shoulder and see downtown. That south view of downtown is pretty impressive. Looks much better than North looking south.

I personally always liked the view from the east and I ALWAYS look at the skyline from the calf robe bridge (but then again I'm always checking out the skyline!)

I was riding my bike around the Peace bridge the other day and noticed that a lot of the cement around the asphalt pathway is beginning to crumble, looks like it wasn't mixed right or something. I hope the city replaces it soon.

It's because they got the concrete from Spain. Seriously though, that concrete would have been placed by a contractor and they should be on the hook for fixing it. I'm not a concreteoligist , but they should be able to CSI that 🞵🞵🞵🞵 and determine if corners were cut.

Going way back to my concrete testing days, i believe this problem is caused by a bad mix design (too much water if i were to guess). If we are past the FAC period, not much the city can do to recoup costs.
