it's just as well, the Park Ave Tower is hideous, we don't need another.

The loading was a 60' curb cut directly adjacent to the 24' Peachtree Place deck entrance, which the DRC did not like. DRC suggestions were to bring the retail closer to Spring, both on Peachtree Place and 8th, and move the curb cuts closer to Williams, bringing pedestrian activity closer to Spring, and auto closer to Williams.
Which corner is this on? NE?

The deck was wrapped 3 sides with apartments up 7 floors, with a massive roof deck on top. L shaped apartment building with one end of the L stopping with a roof deck at floor 26 and anther roof deck on the other end at 29. Overall really large project, still needs work, but given the nature of that site I'm not complaining.
How does this line up with University House? It's getting developed on the same block correct?

The Midtown Alliance has published their recap of the meeting, with some renderings not shown yet.

Picture is from the lounge proposal, with the standard "So hip it looks stupid" name.

Also, this note from the Midtown Alliance on 9/10: "The overhead line was removed at 16th St. last week, and hardscape repairs will follow shortly. Permitting is underway for removal of the final overhead line crossing Peachtree at 8th St."
One street down, hundreds to go!

Thanks for the link.

This is the base (8th and Williams), the tower somewhat floats above this:

This is just the ground level retail. You can see this is on par with 77 12th, but with IMO better materials. I assume Alexan will be the apartment name, as this is the same developer as Alexan at Krog.

This massing is a perfect step-down from Juniper (located on the bottom of the pic). I've always appreciated how well The Dakota and 905 Juniper transition the high-rise district to the SFH district. Here is hoping the fun restaurants across the street stay, as they seem to create a lot of foot-traffic in this area.

The 26 & 29 story towers for the 8th & Williams project, which form somewhat of an L-shape, are in the middle of the site, so they are pretty far setback from the edge of the base building.

Doesn't sound like 880 will get off the ground anytime soon. Better renderings here.

A change of plans could be brewing at a Buckhead site planned to house a twin tower for the 750 Park Avenue condos, among Buckhead's tallest buildings. Developer Wood Partners wants to buy the site and scrap those plans for a more modest apartment tower, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports. If Wood Partners rings a bell, they should: They're trying to get a piece of the mega-project at 98 14th St. and should start a 350-unit apartment complex near the Midtown MARTA station soon. [ABC; subscriber]

Hmmm,I want to know why he couldn't purchase some property nearby the site, i'm quite sure that there's some empty/parking lots near by.Also has any seen in any renders of it if 98 14st will let the developers get a piece of the site.

Thanks for the updates, everyone.

Does anyone know how much progress has been made on Three Alliance so far? And I'm guessing Yoo is kind of dead in the water at this point...

The Yoo sight is plagued with drainage water issues that aren't immediately obvious so it may be an engineering issue that is bogging them down at the moment. The surrounding developments drain into it and the shops on 12th leading to unique challenges from a construction standpoint.

if you look at the oxblue cam for skyhouse, buckhead, you can see it off in the distance. looks like they are still grading and what not, but you really can't see much of the site, but they are working on it. http://oxblue.com/open/SkyHouseApartments

Crews have been removing barricades and associated equipment from the Yoo site in the past couple weeks. Appears to be on-hold.

Me too. Kind of a small-scale international style. But, it's a 4 story building with a surface parking lot, and the sidewalk along West Peachtree in front of this building is ridiculously narrow and cramped.
