A few more pics from today. Joanne, Aisling (You pronounce it Ash-Leeng; it's Irish. Locally, most people who have this name pronounce it Aims-Lee), Marc, Shannon, and I went all over town. Marc is Acadien, originally from Nova Scotia. So, of course, he's 6'3 while I (5'8) am the second-tallest in our whole group,

. He was making fun of the names here. He thinks Siobhan (pronounced Shuh-vonne) is the weirdest Newfoundland name.
Anyhow, I'm going to start a photo collection of my friends walking.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary's stables were open for visitors.

SO AWESOME. I loved it!
(The Royal Canadian Legion, God BLESS them, does not recognize the official provincial flag of Newfoundland. They exclusively use the Union flag to represent Newfoundland. That is why the Union flag is the ONLY one that flies at our National War Memorial. It has nothing to do with us.

Love it!)
Marc didn't realize he was in frame.
Also, I had an accident:
And it was a superette (our version of a dep) owned by newcomers from Iraq.

Ugh... I felt so bad.
And a couple more from a hike last weekend:
(I bought the shirt at a thrift shop for the hike. Never read it.
