Hope they keep the simmple colour scheme. Clean colours help keep a design like that from looking a mess.

Rather boring and bland density filler for the western part of downtown.

wow...how can they afford to do that...amazing....rental rates must be way higher in Halifax than they are in Winnipeg.

I'm liking those Vancouver proposals a lot! Wish we could see something like that here.

All three projects suffer from the same busy massing which detracts from the geometric pattern.

What do you mean by "busy massing"?

The Coal harbour area is full of rather generic blue-glass condo towers so I find this will help give the area some needed vigour......I like it.

Honestly, this entire stretch of Rene-Levesque has been botched already with undersized and hideously unambitious clumps of midrises. This project is only slightly nicer. And really I would have appeased if they had switched the position of the towers, with the 20 floor one directly on the Boulevard and the 15floor on the side.

Not great architectually but still nice to see a $25M project with underground parking going up not too far away from downtown.

Hardie Board Canada wide! It's showing up more and more on low rise projects. Just depressing.

According to a member over at MTLUrb, who is always well informed, this little baby will start construction in 2015.

He also said that it will be the 145m tower going up first. Which seems good, until you realize that the empty lot on Bleury will remain stagnant until the second phase starts happening. You just can't win with this project, which lot is the most grotesque, the long one facing the Hyatt where the tower is to rise, or the lot on Ste-catherine and Bleury?

Anyways, good news. At 145m, this tower should be as tall as the Complexe Desjardins. Yeah, I know the official height is 152m, but I'm not convinced. In fact if you count the floors of the CD, you might just notice that it isn't 40 floors, but 34 (and 37 if you count the podium).

Maybe it's the TdQS who is higher than 145 meters ?
