I want to see that grand staircase inside the podium galleria, that looks like one of those public gathering attractions which can give us our own Spanish Steps inside a Brookfield Box. Looking forward indeed..
Same Walters that got the NMC work?

Glad to hear they got this job, they're experts in steel construction for sure.

Information on their website:

I was skeptical reading that a steel contract would be awarded for two towers when only one is under construction.

However, if they do a superb job, they might be the preferred bidder for the 2nd tower (whenever it is a go)

I handle account cancellations at the Bow Parkade (the parkade to be demolished for the west tower), so once I see the cancellation of the majority of accounts in that facility, I'll let you guys know (if I'm allowed to)

I doubt construction proper will begin within the next 12 months.

Slightly Delayed Pano Update

I took this a couple of days ago, but flickr problems kept me from downloading it.

That is just the tops of the table forms. That whole area will be covered and will be for more parking.

Based on the finishings and the money planned to be spent, this will definitely be the nicest office building in Canada, and one of the nicest in all of North America when complete

After seeing that "45 Bay" proposal in Toronto.... this is almost dull! Of course 45 Bay is just a proposal.... LOL!
