I was around that area yesterday, and saw the MNP tower for the first time in person (from a close distance), and have to say that it's obviously one of the better looking buildings in the area. great addition to the skyline (wish it was only a little bit taller, so it rises above most other buildings in the surround area). For a city so young, it's become so dense quite quickly. Wonder if it'll surpass NYC as being denser in North America, at least.

Each part of downtown has its own atmosphere; feeling. I just hope that the MNP / West Hastings district will attract more street life.
It is such an upbeat, airy, soaring, dynamic-looking part of downtown.

Great photos. I really like the way design appears to have been honed to highlight the Marine Building, rather than dominate it.

Yes!

This building is like a brilliant canvas for the Marine building. This is architecture at its finest.

Absolutely love it.

Love it as well, thanks for all of the great updates guys! The pics have been fantastic.

Funny thing is last time i put an update on the Canada section it got mostly negitive responses...

I guess if it is not a tall square box it wont please the fanboys, hehe.

Because the Canada section is partial to Toronto. Just look at how many boring Toronto pictures get posted, and the ridiculous claims about Toronto's skyline being best in Canada (debatable) and even better than Chicago's....maybe in 20 years.

Now if this building was located in Toronto it would get nothing but praise. When you enter the Canada section, you tread carefully. The MNP tower is arguably the best looking office tower to be built in Canada since the Bow.
