Besides the branding the two towers don't have any true connection.

Anyways, talking about Trump Vancouver, it is really starting to look fantastic now!

Juicy J from Three 6 Mafia said his mind was blown with a the condo construction in Toronto. But that might just have been the weed and Hennessey.

Is there a slight wavy thing going on with FIVE or is it just an optical illusion ?

And that last pic of Vancouver is formidable. It makes the city looks like an urban paradise.

It is an urban paradise. Temperate rainforest, pacific ocean, extreme population density, skying one hour then surfing the next, some of the best food around, and an endless array of things to see. What more could one want?

You guys are giving him a hard time. Yes Vancouver has its flaws, but it's got a lot going for it.

So someone can not say something nice about Vancouver without immediately being negative about it afterwards?

Honestly, I cringe whenever someone says something great about Vancouver on this forum, because although they are meaning well I know that the trolls will jump on it as soon as they can.

If someone posts something very nice about Toronto or Montreal and how it is their favorite city in the country, I don't have that feeling to quickly post about their negatives afterwards...

Now, if they are doing so but directly comparing / referencing it next to another city (therefore putting another city down while propping their favorite up) then that understandably is a cause for debate.

Everybody knows housing is expensive in Vancouver. Doesn't mean it's a bad city. I love the feel and scenery of Vancouver personally. The city has lots to offer and I can't wait to go visit again!

That was not really point, the point was just because someone says they love Vancouver and think it is great you do not need to respond to that post with pointing out a negative aspect.

If I were to do that for the next positive comment towards Toronto or Montreal, it would come off as being kind of a —, for lack of better words

It's the same with Calgary. They're just dinks that can't imagine a city other than theirs being the best in the country in some people's opinions, because theirs is bigger. I'm over it, obviously

Oh let's not be petty now . People insult Toronto on a daily basis in this forum. Whether it's the crappy quality of condo material , bad transit , expensive real estate , too muggy in the summer , etc. Gotta let it roll off your back .

Quite the opposite, It means there is very high demand and at Vancouver's income/housing levels people seem willing to make significant sacrifices just to be there.
