Old, but so is the city...

It's so hard to accurately depict steepness in photos, but this one allows it somewhat: I'm standing on a ground-level parking spot one block up from Water Street, not on the roof of a Water Street building. It's just that in this particular spot there's no building on Duckworth to block the view.







And St. John's is all decked out for Pride Week. I took these on my short stroll - Pride flags only. I'd have to take a picture of every business if I included Pride posters, etc.

Above right is a bird-watching supply store. Giggle.





Pop-up lululemon store. Mainlanders must be running it because, while beautiful, the message is a little aggressive for here.

Lake Freighter leaving the Sault locks on the Michigan side.


Sault Canal lowered to the Lake Huron water level.


Sault Canal raised to the Lake Superior water level.
