Yay! We can have nice things

The fountain north of the art gallery is going to be removed this summer and the entire space will be improved. According to a news blurb on the radio in the car this morning, so I can't give anymore details.

It's such a shame, it seems only yesterday they were laying fresh woodchips.

About the Art Gallery, I don't know if they are building the new design. I haven't heard about it in a while. Apparently the fountain was leaking into the basement, so it was turned off and won't be replaced after they do some kind of work in the area this month.

Glad they didn't waste any more tax dollars with anything more "better detailed".

The shrubs that were against the building have all been removed and the concrete looks like it'll go right to the building.
There may be space for trees next to the curb.

Actually I think those other ones are pretty cool and funky. Reminds me of Ted Harrison or something. I guess the one they chose is probably the best option, though it still doesnt quite fit.
