That's because it's from afar and from lower ground... It really shows the density though. The best angle is from Champlain IMO.

Yeah, much better. Lovin' that density.

And loving this one too. My only problem here is that the TO is skyline looks out of balance. Once upon a time the FCP made a pinnacle impression, but now it's been upstaged by that random condo tower, turning the TO skyline into a tabletop shape. Now the only way TO can get out of that is to build a 400m skyscraper.

Nobody has taken a nice TO skyline shot from the island in a long time showing all of Cityplace right into the Financial district to the Toronto Star building. That's the nicest shot IMO. Right at evening when the lights are on and gleaming onto the water.

That's just perspective from that particular view. Ice ISN"T taller than FCP, and we all know it... And once Harbour Plaza is completed, your "problem" will be even more pronounced.
