And wasn't there a plan at one point for this other lot across from 30th Street? I.E. the one that has some Drexel parking and the one people wait in front of for the Bolt Buses.

We're getting lots confused.

Brandywine (developer of Cir Centre complex) owns the air rights above the train tracks (hole I'm the ground) at 30th and JFK behind 30th st station. This is the future site of Cira II if they plan on developing it still. Drexel owns all of the other parking lots north of JFK and will develop these after the master plan study is complete since they want to develop these with future development over the rail yard in mind. Drexel also owns everything between 30th, 32nd, Market and JFK. The only thing staying is the Bulletin Building which will have floors added to it. Everything else in this entire stretch will go and be replaced by new buildings. Drexel also owns the massive parking lot at 30th and Chestnut. Penn owns all land fronting Walnut.

Gotcha. Well, it'll be nice to see the lots abutting the train station turned into something some day...

I don't know if you can tell from my photos, but the facade is starting to go up the building core

Ugh, that building is ugly. Is there plan to at least build something on the parking lot of the Bulletin Building facing 30th St. Station?

Yes. I believe plans call for two highrises here.

I actually like the Bulletin Building, though I think it looked a lot more striking before they added windows to the east wall of the building.

I can defiantly tell. I'm really surprised how they're supposed to get this thing opened by October. Maybe they are on track but they still have to get this furnished for the people that already reserved the apartments. Just out of curiosity when do you start to think we'll begin to see Evo light up the skyline?

Very cool night-time shot you found. It makes me think the boardwalk will look pretty great lit up at night as well.

Speaking of lighting up the skyline, I scrolled through quickly and didn't see any nighttime exterior renderings. Do any exist? Does anyone know if an exterior lighting scheme is planned for evo and what it might be?

Lighting

The company that has the proposal for the North Broad lighting has this on their site as well. I really like the idea of lighting up those cut outs throughout the building.

Is crazy tht the whole skyline just continues to move west

25 years ago the PSFS and city hall were the centerpiece view - now on that latest an afterthought

I remember when the Aramark building went up and what a difference that made - I am dating myself

that was the first skyscraper I watched go up as a kid and remember being wowed by that

After looking at these buildings going up and seeing some of these great shots, this just reinforces the fact from a skyline aspect that Philadelphia is a competitor if not even in the top 3.
