I ventured north of bloor the other day (scary stuff I know) and saw Emerald park in person and was actually quite disappointed. The glass is mediocre, which is fine, its just a condo building, but the flare at the top is so muted compared to what the render made it look like it would be.

One more video, this one with a very cool timelapse of the construction of 351 Water Street. It took me a bit to realize you couldn't see it until I turned the camera to the closest screen, but I do. And, of course, all serenaded by the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra.

It's thankfully in a very prominent area, on the edge of the highrise area of the CBD. So it will be quite noticeable, and will add a great ultramodern flare to Montreal's skyscraper core.



Here's a really cool shot Ramsayfarian got of the East Village last night. The first tower is already at 12 storeys, 2nd tower is at the 2nd storey, and 3rd is passing ground level now
