What are you talking about? On video it looks to be almost at-level with Shangri-La, which is quite accurate.

Amazing view, just amazing. The Prince of Dubai certainly bought the wrong apartment.

Not to be cynical, more like a Doubting Thomas, perhaps, but unless bits of downtown here, there, and elsewhere are photoshopped or something, this is electrifying!!!

Sadly, it's dated, :: Sears is still there, the MNP Tower is nowhere to be seen, and didn't the Pacific Palisades twin towers go? Anyway, an impressive video.
Remember the Vancouver skyline of 20 or so years back, anybody?
Imagine it 20 years from now.

trofirhen, that panorama photo (which is converted into a video) has been taken last summer. You can tell from One Wall Centre re-glazing work being in progress.

I agree with your view point Klazu. The video shows the pent house to be almost level with the top floors of the Shangri-La, just below the roof top garden. If this is indeed the level of the Trump Tower's pent house then the downtown skyline will definitely have a nice peak to the help disrupt/add interest the city's existing (boring) table top skyline look.

I took this photo from the seawall and if you look closely it is coming up slowly but assuredly right next to the shangri la.

The height and densities that I observe here, the 32 more floors to go, the neighboring Shangri-la, and the overall development scheme make me feel as if I'm more in
well, if not not Dallas or Houston . . . maybe a more like a higher, more densified version of Honolulu (only climatically rather different)
Otherwide stated: the whole of central-west Georgia is morphing spectacularly.

Its only marginally shorter than Shangri-La and it will be in the foreground, I think that it should be higher than the Shangri-La from that perspective.

Probably, again this was a very crude render.

All things considered, this building will be a beast and a much needed double peak on the skyline.

Same here. I think it gives a good idea of the size, look and effect of the twister. good stuff
