Most likely a British Army charter. Took us totally by surprise, it didn't show up on any of the flight tracking websites. Rumour is it will leave around 1530 today.

Neat to see them up that far north! See them on the ramp at CUN daily flying in from Madrid.

My camera sucks, but here's a shot of the terminal today. It looks so massive now!

Yeah I didn't read that properly and didn't know what you were talking about when you said RTR.

Confirmed now as a ferry on Saturday, operating 878 to ZRH on Tuesday so I dunno what it's doing on Monday then.

...and don't forget what we talked about; you'll change the itinerary to not include a touch & go, but rather a full stop at YEG to "pick up a VIP". (Very important passenger...)

I am predicting a lot of runners slowing down and/or coming to a full stop around the 2K mark tomorrow morning to take in views of the beast.

I can figure I only make it down to Calgary for either this weekend, or opening weekend. Haven't decided... but joining the spotters on opening day sounds more appealing.

So she will be back to YYZ from ZRH early tomorrow afternoon... hang around for a few hours then leave YYZ around 6 to get here for 8? Sounds like that's the plan.

Air Transat (via Enerjet 737s) once again offering weekly YYC-YVR flights for the summer.

YYC-YVR operates on Fridays
YVR-YYC operates on Mondays

Might as well sell some seats on repositioning flights for the summer sun flights.

Caught the last run of this on FR24.

Looks like he's done for the day.

Was it 3 round trips from YYC-YEG?

The YYC Runway Run was totally awesome today. You realize how big the runway really is. And that new terminal just looks massive. Tomorrow should be fun for the 10,000 people getting to roam the new runway!

Yep it was 3 touches at YYC, 3 touches at YEG, and a full stop at YYC.

I can't get over how awesome this picture is. Really makes YYC look like a big boy airport.

What a beautiful thing. Let's get some more 787s or 747-800s on that thing, now.
