This should perhaps go in another thread, but does anyone know the story on that concrete skeleton on Morosgo? My recollection is that somebody started a condo project that fell through in the crash of the 2000s.

It's actually a great location, withing walking distance to transit and shopping, with cool skyline views.

Thanks, da! That's a good looking building.

There are two other apartment developments underway nearby (AMLI and Greystar). So it might be an opportune time to get this thing developed into something, be it apartments or condos.

Luxe O4W Townhomes Get A Name, New Rendering

Slated for a spring 2015 completion, the 10 upscale townhomes now known as The Water Tower Stacks promise to deliver "historic modern" architecture to the Old Fourth Ward — judging by the new rendering, that oxymoronic description means lots of brick, dark metallic finishes and right angles.

So here's how the BB&T space at the corner of Viewpoint is coming along as of today.

Also here's an interactive map for Viewpoint's retail. You can see the spaces that are leased.

http://properties.theshoppingcentergroup.com/property/output/center/detail/id:1579/#plans

World of Beer's build out looks to be putting a patio along Peachtree. They're putting brick pilasters on the facade, and it appears that the patio maybe will have closing windows similar to flying biscuit. Idk for sure.

Does anyone know which space Starbucks is taking in this plan?

i had heard that starbucks was going to be located in the storefront nearest the building it's currently in, but that appears to be BB&T's space now?

keep in mind wherever starbucks locates within the building, it will only be temporary, as they're set to occupy the ground floor of the condo that will go up in its place:

i think this is a beautiful and fantastic idea— i think there should be an attempt to accomodate current retail spaces in new buildings, just like this plan shows.

for example, carolyn's, salon moraee and the flower shop appear to all be on the way out when novare constructs its new building. it would really be nice if novare could come to an agreement to keep those shops there after the building is completed.

this would definitely keep a lot more independent and small business owners in midtown rather than pushing them out in favour of big business and and chain stores— which i am afraid is a very real problem for midtown.

Skyhouse Buckhead has now gone beyond the lens range of the Oxblue camera. It is being built fast, so they need a fast adjustment.

With that being said, Centergy North has started on its first/second level.

I was thinking the whole thing was going to be wrapped with LEDs. Is it just that one patch?

I don't get it. Hopefully it will be more impressive when completed.
