This building is a welcome addition to Plains Rd., but I really can't make myself like the clock tower.

It just seems like a mini version of this:

The build quality and 360° attention to pedestrian experience is a great addition to that intersection. With work soon beginning on the nearby Seasons and construction progressing to the west along the south side of Plains, it will be interesting to see what Aldershot looks like in 5-10 years' time. Plenty of potential, as this project proves.

Every time I see Plains it reminds me of the potential Upper James has...it isn't going to happen by accident, however.

It will take some imagination. And balls.

Same with parts of Rymal/Garner, Upper Centennial, Mud St... also Barton and Queenston Rd. where the new urban area of Stoney Creek will grow (though the concept will have to be beheaded down to three-and-a-half storeys)
