Wow, I'm impressed at how quickly they dug all that out. Hopefully they'll get to work on the foundation soon. I wanna see some structural work! :p

^They are very close. You can see From Shylo's pic, which is actually newer than the ones I just posted. It looks like a second crane base going into the NE corner.

This photo shows the first column being poured. I have made a request to the mods to move this thread to the under-construction subforum. Congrad to Calgary and a many thanks to those who patiently provided updates for the rest of us to view ...and drool.

I was thinking the same thing. Keeping it here in the proposals section is just ceremony at this point, it's pretty much time to graduate it onward

So the plaza for this one is going to be a quarter of a city block in size, sandwiched between the 50 foot tall ultra-modern clear glass lobby on one side, and the over a century old Hudson's Bay Building on the other side. That is going to make for one really cool public plaza

It's been official for months, the global section just has weird guidelines. No one would build a hole this absolutely massive and deep just to quit and call it a day.

You call that a "massive pour" Chad?

I remember the big raft slab pour for the Bow, now that was massive. Don't think you were in town back then though right?

I came here to suggest moving this one to the construction thread, but it's already been done!
