that image is great - it makes the back section appear elevated - would this not be great area for performances - city skyline as the back drop.

Yes it would make for incredible performance space but you have to wonder if Brandywine wants to deal with the hassle due to crowd control,limited space,height,safety concerns etc etc. . The hill decline is a nice touch , they have some more work to do to the garage if that is to come to fruition.
If this is open to the public? Rittenhouse Square is going to have some competition on the nice weather days.
My guess is that higher outdoor space was from roof deck of Evo Tower.You are going to have to know someone to get up there.

I drove on that road where the project is slated to be two weeks ago. Wow! What an impact this is going to have in the area. The renderings really show how slick and powerful this will be.
I am in love with this building. It's official, "downtown" has now jumped across the river. Wow this looks good.
Such a game-changer for Philly in so many ways (location, design, etc.).
But it will make the AFSCME D.C. 33 building stick out even more as a sore thumb as the neighborhood around it continues to transform. Anyone know of any plans (or hopes or dreams ) regarding that?
Didn't realize that Cesar Pelli is almost as tall as some of his buildings:
A statue of Pelli could very well be as tall as FMC. Congrads to Philly for this and the other towers which are suppose to break ground this year. A tower in the 700-ft range and 1000-ft range rising this year. Good stuff.

I have experienced construction commencing within the next couple of days after the ceremonial ground breaking to a couple of months after ground breaking. IMO, with a major tenant already signed, hopefully actual construction will take place soon afterwards.

Agreed. And in addition to the two FMC companies, I suspect that there's also some pressure from Penn to get this completed on time so it can occupy its 100,000 square feet. Not to mention that with such a high-profile groundbreaking involving several major institutions and city and state dignitaries, it would be a bit awkward--to say the least--if the site then just sat there vacant for any significant length of time.
Walked by today. They are removing the metal grating on the structure facing the train tracks. Would imagine we'll see heavy machinery on site within the next few days if not today.
