The Kingston Public Market, which has been running in titular Market Square for over two hundred years. These days it runs Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

On one side of market square is our city hall. It was built in 1841 back when we were the capital of Canada--its grandeur was considered appropriate for the capital of the country.

The city is reconstructing a lot of the ancient infrastructure and making great streetscape improvements with each one. New blocks now have mega sidewalks:
