Ok, this is not really skyline related or anything, but here's a little video of the Red Bull Air Force skydivers from this morning. It's not great quality, but it intrigues me because I just can't figure out if that last jumper was just lucky or planned it that way.

What do you think?

I think he just escaped being a headline, and Red Bull is lucky they didn't have to pay for a new light pole.

A few photos I took last September that I never got around to posting. The weather was interesting that day.

We stopped off at the overlook just as the storm started rolling through downtown. it was kind of headed in our direction and the rain curtain was pushing the air our direction. It was quite windy through that canyon.

Depending on the rate of speed at which you were traveling, that's pretty dang quick.

That was really cool. The Pretenders were one of my favorite bands back in the day.

This video should be the one featured on page one of the compilation thread. The current one is dated...just like the project list...

That's a pretty cool video, but, and call me captain obvious, that wasn't an official music video by the Pretenders...just someone's take on the song, "Dark Sunglasses" using Austin and Austinites. I've never seen a Chrissie Hynde video without her in it.

That's the first single to be released on her "Stockholm" album coming out in June. She's 62, so maybe that's why she's hiding from the camera.

Love her!! love that she is beautiful and 62! Album cover looks great.
It is indeed from director Steve Glashier for her new Album .
Knew him as a wonderful photographer… you can tell
from the frame ups in the vid.
Nice!

The ladies didn't call me Briggs and Stratton for nothing. Referencing their 4 stroke engine, if you know what I mean...

I'm shocked and dismayed [hyperbole inserted] that this video in txb4z's link is not getting more love by the Austin forummers. It is the official music video and not somebody's drive by video project.
