I really don't like how the floor of downtown gets cut-off from this view and the towers get "stumpified".
I do however love the view from Crescent Road overlooking downtown (and we can't have one without the other).

I actually like it. It is a perfect display of how not-flat Calgary is. The bluffs a half-kilometer north of downtown present a grade difference of like 150 feet. It's actually amazing how many buildings get completely blocked from view, like Waterfront (75 meters) and the Ernst and Young Building (100 meters)

It's amazing to me that these new 600-800ft towers going up in Toronto look so small from afar. You can see Aura like a sore thumb, it stands out no matter what direction you take the pic.

That's a cool Vancouver shot and a VERY rare one.

Vancouver gets almost no lightning or thunderstorms and to hear even one thunder clap per year is an anomaly.
