It does, while also at the same time making the Bluffs at downtown pretty obvious, since you can't see the river or the podiums of any of the towers on the other side of the river. It's amazing how different the elevation is between Crescent Heights and Downtown.

Winnipeg from the Canadian Museum for Human Rights....shows the importance of developing the last two rail-side parcels properly....I'm currently working on the planning for it....should be out soon.

Good to hear the plans will be made public soon. I've been excited and nervous for a while now...those lots are so important in linking the forks to downtown (not to mention completing the Forks itself).

What type of development is planned? Park, office, residential, retail, institutional, etc?

Great shots. Telus Sky and Brookfield Place are going to make a huge impact from this angle, too - Broofield'll fill in the gap in the centre of downtown from this angle, and Telus will basically completely block out PetroCanada (sorry, Suncor) from this angle.

Actually, Telus Sky will rise just next to Suncor. Refer to the photo, Hanover Place is right in front of Suncor, Telus Sky will be directly south of Hanover. In fact, from this view, Brookfield Place will virtually frame in Telus Sky. It could look very cool!

We sure could. Obviously False Creek is harder to cross, but I always dream about having a set of bridges over the river like Chicago does, where crossing the water doesn't become significant at all, it's just a continuation of the street. Unfortunately the way the waterfronts have been developed along False Creek it's unlikely that we'll ever get any more bridges.

Yes, but strangely enough not in this part of town.

The false creek bridges here are actually under capacity, and will likely remain that way in perpetuity due to capacity of roads feeding into them.
