Once the Civic Census numbers for 2014 get tallied and released (July I believe) there should be a noticeable increase.
In a few years the population will increase even more as East Village and Beltline have some substantial residential buildings under construction, including the city's tallest residential tower, the
44 storey Guardian. When the Guardian's south tower get built (currently in sales mode), there will be
624 units alone in the two 44 storey towers.
