This building looks very nice because it is very tall, glassy and doesn't have balconies sticking out.

Would be interesting to know what the estimate of occupants would be in a building this size. How many suites and how many per suite.

This tower really turned out well. The ride on the skytrain here must be amazing now. I have only been out of the country for 8 months and it is insane how much has already changed. Thanks for all of the fantastic updates Klazu!

Great building for sure! My one reservation is the red light striping. White would be so much more elegant on this one. (IMHO)

Looks great! My question is, when are they painting the corner box orange like the rendering?

It will be interesting to see how it will turn out. It might be a good addition like with Moda or then make the building look more cheap. We will see soon.

Hey!
In that shot the corner box already looks painted - biege!

(PS - thanks for the shot!)

There do look to be brackets for the wooden screen on the corner of the podium
- probably to hold signage.

I've been by this thing numerous times recently. The corner box looks completed to me. I doubt that any orange is yet to be added. Renderings are not always 100% accurate as we all know.

This building is brilliant.

Favourite new building in Metro Vancouver probably since Woodwards.

Wow! This is totally turning out nice. Any downtown core would be lucky to have it!

Here is a rendering depicting the feature that will be attached to the corner of the podium. It looks like wood lattice:

And for your convenience, here is the aerial photo referred to earlier:

Thanks.

Looking at that aerial pic, it looks like Beresford St. would continue east and line up with the end of the last townhouse of Moda
- i.e. no room for a retail building on the end of the Moda townhouses?

It would have been nice of MetroPlace had a full site retail floorpate (like Marinaside / Urban Fare at Pacific Place)
but with Metropolis across the street I guess that wouldn't have been viable.

By Yellow Fever at SSC dated April 4th.

Looks like the bottom half has the window blinds drawn and the top ones don't.
